The Hegel H95 is not only an amplifier, but also a complete streaming solution, with AirPlay and UPnP streaming. It fully covers the modern digital streaming generation. The H95 has built-in Spotify Connect for instant and incredibly music playback.
While connectivity and upgradeability are important, the inside of the Hegel H95 really shows its intelligence. The H95 is equipped with a digital-to-analog converter of the highest quality, achieving small but significant improvements in the power supplies and the application of the analog stage. Hegel informs us that “The H95 uses the same DAC as the H120 and H190. It is a completely different level of D/A conversion. It is smoother, more accurate and more dynamic. So, while the upgrade is already noticeable when used as analog, it is a completely different machine when it comes to converting the signal from digital to analog. “The noise levels of the H95 headphone jack have also been reduced”.
Important and worth mentioning is the patented SoundEngine2 technology that reduces signal distortion to levels almost incalculable and ensures that you will be completely “lost” in your music or movies. SoundEngine2 technology also implements impressive bass control and traction on your speakers. The adhesion of the H95, from a technical point of view of the “damping factor” is up to 20 times higher than the industry average, according to the manufacturer. This offers a dynamic, flexible and powerful bass response, which is why 60 watts of output power is more than enough to drive even the most demanding speakers with confidence.
In the H95 all inputs are configurable, allowing you to easily integrate the H95 into a home cinema or an existing multi-room system. There is also a high-quality headphone output, a variable pre-output for connecting a subwoofer or other equipment a sleek OLED information display.
